Do I need a Fire Risk Assessment?

Most commercial properties need a Fire Risk Assessment under the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005
Part 3 and The Fire Safety (Scotland) Regulations 2006.

Local fire authorities no longer issue fire certificates and any existing certificates are invalid, so many businesses are unwittingly no longer compliant.

Responsibility for complying with the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005 and the associated Fire
Safety (Scotland) Regulations 2006 rests with the Duty Holder.

If you are the Duty Holder, you must carry out a fire risk assessment of the premises, which
must focus on the safety of all 'relevant persons' in case of fire.

Call us now on 01339 742 005 or 07791697950 to keep your business safe & compliant.
